The U.S. Equity Research Team, led by George Bicher,Sr. Portfolio Manager, consists of a highly experienced team of research analysts who work together to provide analytical coverage across all sectors. GE Asset Management’s Research Team screens a universe of approximately 750 names to identify “competitive winners” that compose a “Stockwatch” list of 400+ companies. Each industry analyst then closely follows approximately 25 stocks, building earnings models, ranking companies in terms of investment attractiveness, visiting with company managements, contacting industry suppliers and competitors, attending industry conferences and leveraging contacts within GE businesses worldwide. Subject to investment restrictions, analysts are given full discretion to manage their sector portfolios using fundamental, bottom-up analysis. Each analyst’s sector/industry portfolio is combined to create the Research Enhanced U.S. Equity portfolio.
